AES State Symbol Experts

Antrim 4th graders have been working on a State Symbols project with Jeannie Connolly, our Arts Enrichment Coordinator. The 4th graders consulted text and internet sources to become experts with their chosen state symbol, wrote a paragraph and drew an illustration, and then put together their books with Jeannie, Mrs. Storro, and family helpers. Some of the state symbols included the ladybug (state insect), skiing (state sport), granite (state rock), and the State House, which we will be visiting on Friday, February 15th!
