How do you become a better reader? READ, READ, READ, READ, READ!! That’s what second graders have been doing! We’ve had a “Pumpkin Reading Challenge” for the month of November where the students earned a pumpkin for each book or chapter they read.
As part of “A World of Books” at AES, books for the book fair were supplied from the Toadstool Book Shop.
“A World of Books” was a huge success at Antrim Elementary on Thursday, December 5th. In collaboration with the AES PTO, the AES staff joined in the festivities by hosting a night of literary fun.

4th grade mathematicians work together to solve problems posted around the room- rounding, comparing numbers, using the addition & subtraction algorithms, solving word problems using tape diagrams, & showing our Eagle values of co-operation and grit!
On Thursday, October 17th the AES 4th graders visited Fort No. 4 in Charlestown, NH. They were transported back in time to the small frontier community on New Hampshire’s westernmost border.
