On Wednesday, May 30, Antrim Elementary’s 4th graders went to Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. It was a lovely day with perfect weather. The students were engaged and respectful throughout the trip. They learned a lot about the various occupations which will be very helpful for their Colonial Fair Project.
We hatched 6 chicks in second grade this spring! The students have been so amazed to learn what is going on inside a fertilized egg each day until it hatches on Day 21. We candled the eggs and were able to see if the chick was growing. We even saw one chick moving its wings one time when we candled!
