Reading Buddies

On Friday, Antrim Elementary Eagles met their reading buddy for the year. Each class pairs up on Friday afternoons with a class from a different grade level. It’s a great way to end our week and share an enjoyment for reading together. Students often pick out books especially to read with our buddies. For example, Mrs. Zawacki’s 1st grade class chose Eric Carle books to read with Mr. MacLeod’s 4th grade class during their first session together. Reading buddies is the highlight of many eagles’ weeks!
