Dear Parents/Guardians and Students:
As the new principal of Antrim Elementary School (AES), home to the eagles that soar, I welcome you to the 2016- 2017 school year! I am excited and honored to join the Antrim Elementary School learning community for what I know will be an amazing and successful school year.
For those of you I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting, please allow me to introduce myself. Prior to joining the Conval School District this past July, I have spent a total of nine years working in the Ware Public Schools located in Central Massachusetts. My experiences in Ware included working as an assistant principal and principal in kindergarten through grade six schools. Prior to Ware, I began my career in education working in the Holyoke Public Schools in Western Massachusetts starting as a substitute teacher, paraprofessional, first grade teacher, also an assistant principal.
I obtained my undergraduate degree in elementary education at Westfield State University and my master’s degree in educational administration at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
On behalf of the staff at AES, we look forward to working with you and your children to provide an exceptional educational experience. We are looking forward to another great school year.
