We had a warm and overcast first day back in the garden on September 13th. The students found the garden overflowing with plants. Jumping right into this season’s theme of Field Investigation, students searched for evidence of Summer garden care. We devoured a fresh snack of ground cherries, basil, kale, and chives.We brought fully developed radish plants into the shade to inspire scientific drawings in the garden journals . Our student gardeners planted pea shoots and lettuces to grow in the approaching cooler weather.
