Do you know how animal adaptations help them survive? Ms. Zawacki’s class can teach you.

Mrs. Zawacki’s class is learning about how animal body parts (adaptations) help the animals survive and make their lives easier. We started by reading The Snail’s Spell and What Does This Tail Do? to learn exactly how different animals use their body parts. Then Jeannie Connelly from the Conval Arts Integration Program came to do a project with our class. With her help, in teams of four we created our own habitats for creatures we created. Each creature had special features that helped them survive in their habitat. It was an educational, collaborative and fun experience enjoyed by all!
