On Monday morning, April 26, 2021, Antrim Police Chief Scott Lester was invited to AES to receive a handmade gift from staff and students in honor of his retirement at the end of this week. During a short presentation that was on Zoom for the entire school, Principal Syre-Hager honored Chief Lester with an original piece of artwork by Muzart teacher Carole Storro. Mrs. Storro invited all staff and students to contribute to the artwork prior to presenting it, so it truly is a gift from the heart from the entire AES educational community. Chief Lester was also presented with a peace lily as a thank you for keeping the peace in Antrim for the last 13 years. Chief Lester accepted the gift gratefully as cheers from across the school erupted.
