On Thursday, October 17th the AES 4th graders visited Fort No. 4 in Charlestown, NH. They were transported back in time to the small frontier community on New Hampshire’s westernmost border. A blacksmith and a weaver demonstrated their trades to the students, and they also toured a colonial kitchen and trading post where they learned about food preparation,

AES third graders recently went to Miller State Park to learn about the hawk’s annual migration and migration routes.
On Thursday Sept 12th, students and families gathered for our Fall Open House. Students were able to share their classrooms and work with their families.

Monadnock Music’s Lend an Ear program visited AES’s 3rd graders introducing them to the Harp, Flute, and Viola. The ConVal Arts Enrichment Program helps support bringing these musicians to the ConVal Elementary Schools.
